Dearest Parents,

I just loved those pictures!!! Thanks so much for sending them! I am so glad you had the chance to see Griff and Kate! How awesome was that fair! I just loved the pictures and wish I could have been there with you! Maybe when I come home we can go again? Could you send me the picture of her that I texted to you before I left? Also, the other picture of Kyler and I that is on my blog? The one where I have my black and white striped shirt on? That would be awesome!

That;s awesome that everyone is starting to recognize Corbin. What a great experience he had to be in that video. We are so far from the temple, I wish we could go and watch it. Sister Johnson hasn't seen it yet! I am so anxious for her to see it! I'm sure Oscar just loves having the kiddos to play with! Cute little Lily, I would do the same thing if a dog the same size as me came walking/running towards me! Send pictures of that cute little family!!! I want to see them (:

I'm glad work is going good for dad!!! Way to go passing off your presentation!! Although, I'm not exactly sure what that means.. but thats awesoe! And 10 appointments is awesome, get em daddio! WHAT!? Two gang squad cops?! What happened!!! Oh boy, high school is pretty crazy. I kinda miss it...

Cassidy did inform me of their birthdays! What is paige's address? I have a little something to send her! But thats awesome about the deer! WAY TO GO MATT! I have realized that when I get home I want to go hunting. There are a TON of deer just walking around here... in neighborhoods and all. It's pretty fun!

My investigators are doing great! We have been trying to get in with her. It's sad because there is so much anti stuff online that if they get on there they are bound to find something against our church. Which they did. It's really sad that there are people out there who are so against our church. That is an obvious testimony to me that its the true church... why else would satan have so many people bashing on it! But we are trying to help her recognize that she needs to go to the Lord himself through prayer to know the truth about our church. That's the only way we can know something is true, not by reading things from anti mormons. Anywho.. we are working on her. We just adore them and want them to know the truth! Thanks for the quote mom! I really like it!!! It is such a comfort knowing that I have been given the power to bless lives and rescue souls. It is sometimes hard to fathom that. That I have been given the responisbility to rescue some of Heavenly Fathers children. Sometimes I wonder if that's really something he wants to trust me with. But I know that through His strength, I will be directed to know how to help each individual child. I am honored to be given the trust to represent the Lord.

Lately we have tried to get new investigators. It's been a little difficult, we have been trying former investigators but haven't had a whole lot of luck. We are teaching some people but haven't really had any solid investigators. This past thursday we had a Multi-Zone Conference where Elder Snow came and spoke to us! What an inspirational experience that was! He taught about the Holy Ghost being the ultimate converter in missionary work. I just loved being around missionaries and feeling of the spirit that was there. It was incredible.

Sister Johnson has a lot of talks that she has recorded onto cd's and she has let me listen to a lot of them! I want you all (the whole family) to look up the talk "His Grace is sufficient" by Brad Wilcox. It is in the ensign this month! BUT, go to speeches.byu.edu to listen to it first. It is so powerful! Also take a look at "Character of Chirst" by David A. Bednar. What an awesome talk both of those are and they sure do give you a different perspective on God's Grace and His character.

I'll add pictures to this email and explain whats going on! I haven't been too good at that but I will work on it. Also, let everyone know I love letters. It's depressing when we go check the mail and Sister Johnson gets 2 letters and I get zero. Haha, I know its not super important, but it wears on ya sometimes when youre having a rough week. ALSO mom, it's starting to get a little colder and I don't have many warm clothes. Could you send me that package? Also, I'm not sure where to get some wool tights... Sister Johnson said she had to order some online? I wasn't too sure. I'll look at walmart this week but I need some of those to keep warm! Missionary work doesn't stop once it gets cold. So I need to be prepared! It's starting to get a bit more chilly... Which I'm not too excited about. So about 2 weeks ago, in Custer, a neighboring town, they had a hail storm. And let me tell you, these hail storms are intense. The hail is the size of a golf ball on average. They dent cars and houses..... CRAZY! We haven't had one here in Hot Springs though, which Sister Johnson and I really want! How cool would it be to have huge balls of hail... I hope it happens atleast once while i'm here!

Anywho, life is superb. Super stressful and tough not knowing how we can help our investigators recognize how amazing this gospel is but thats why we have the Lord. We need to rely on him 100%. Which is what we are doing. It's crazy how much I am learning and growing. I am going to be a completely different person when I get home. It's so good. I can already tell how much stronger in the gospel this is making me and how firm my testimony is becoming. And i've only been out for a month! I can't even imagine the person I will be a year and a half from now. I feel as if everyone should go on a mission. It is such an amazing experience. It is so hard. Harder than you can even comprehend. I knew it would be hard, I kept telling myself that. But it is a lot harder than I expected. But it's not anything that we can't overcome as long as we have the Spirit to be with us and as long as we are relying on the Lord. Because ultimately, we can't do anything without Him. We are nothing without Him. I have learned that in this life we aren't trying to earn our way into Heaven. We aren't trying to do everything we can to do good and be good people so we can be worthy of Heaven. We are striving to make ourselves Heavenly. We are trying to become like Christ. In the "His Grace is sufficient" talk he talks about how he viewed the final judgement as him begging Jesus Christ to let him into Heaven. But he said that as we come to the final judgement its depending on how worthy we feel we are. If we  feel comfortable being in Heaven, in God's presence. Instead of us begging Jesus, Jesus is going to be begging us to want to be there. Because if we are guilty and ashamed of the life we lived, we won't feel comfortable living in God's presence and we won't want to be there. It is such an incredible perspective on life and the way we should live it. We are striving to BECOME heavenly.

I want to challenge every member in our family to share the gospel with atleast one person this next week. I have recognized the great importance and impact we all can have in missionary work and we all don't have to be wearing a nametag. This gospel has blessed our lives in SO many ways and I know that your friends who aren't members notice that difference in you. Tell them why you are always happy. Tell them why you believe what you believe. We need to let ALL of our brothers and sisters know about the gospel so they can have the chance to know how they can return back to our Father.

My testimony of this gospel is increasing each and every day. I am able to solidify my testimony each and every time I bear it with someone. I know that this church is the church Jesus Christ established on this earth during his ministry. I know that we have the "keys of the kingdom," the power and authority known as the priesthood that Jesus Christ gave His apostles, restored back onto this earth through Joseph Smith. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins and the sins of each and every person that has evr lived on this earth, who lives on this earth, and who still has yet to live on this earth. And I know that it is only through his atonement that we are able to become perfected and able to return back to our Father in Heaven. I know it, I have read, studied, and prayed about it. I know that this gospel brings a complete different type of happiness to lives. Sometimes, it is a happiness that people are not even aware they can experience. And I am so anxious and excited to share to people how they can gain that happiness. I love this gospel and I thank the Lord each and every day for your examples in my life. For your examples as being true children of God and living the gospel. Thank you for all you have ever done for me. I am so blessed to have such an amazing family. I am blessed to know that we will be together forever. And I am blessed to know that each and every one of you have a knowledge of the truth and live it.

I love you all so much and I am so grateful for the time we have set apart to come and email you and get the chance to hear about your lives. It is truly a blessing and I look forward to this time each week. You are all amazing and such great role models in my life and I look up to each and every one of you. I am confident when I say that I was blessed with the best family to ever walk this earth. (:

I hope you all have a great week and are able to recognize the miracles we all experience each and every day. Hugs and kisses!

Love,
Sister Allen
